A mouthwatering Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash is on the cards. This is an outstanding game of the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals, which were played this past weekend.
The clash is between giants, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. This comes after Sundowns thrashed Polokwane City 4 – 0 as the Buccaneers awaited the winner of this last to be played encounter of the Nedbank Cup round of 16. This game was the last to be played as Sundowns had first to honour its Caf Champions League commitments.
Due to the CAF Champions League, the Mamelodi Sundowns vs Orlando Pirates quarterfinal match will take place on Thursday, 15 April at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The fourth team to join the Nedbank Cup semifinals will thus be confirmed on this day.
Meanwhile, the draw for the Nedbank Cup semifinals was conducted on Sunday, 14 March 2021. It took place after the Black Leopards vs Tshakhuma FC quarterfinal clash. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) and tournament sponsor Nedbank hosted the draw at the Thohoyandou Stadium confirming the three teams who will continue their journey in the Nedbank Cup.

• Pretoria Callies vs Chippa United
