Namahadi’s Dudu releases new gospel tribute sounds

Described as kimberlite and gifted, this gospel African jazz sensation from Namahadi, Frankfort, in Mafube promises enchanting melodic harmonies in her upcoming new single.

Dudu Makhoba is set to release the single, “Weho Mdali” by the end of June. The singer this composition will be paying tribute to the divine power of God, the Creator and to showcase her extraordinary vocal and songwriting talents. “Weho Mdali ” also marks a significant milestone in Dudu’s illustrious career.

“This powerful single beautifully exemplifies my deep-rooted faith, emphasizing the ability of God the Creator to bring forth existence through His mere word,” she said.

Dudu pursued a National Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music at Central Johannesburg College. As a phenomenal voice and jazz performance teacher, Dudu’s influence extends beyond her

own artistry. With mesmerizing performances in local and global shows, including her renowned role in “The Fat Black Women Sing a chorus-poem theatre play written and directed by African Poet and award winner, Napo Masheane. Other stage performances include but not limited to UMOJA CFC.

She continues to inspire and uplift audiences. Her songwriting skills have also found success in the corporate realm, creating captivating music for advertising campaigns.
