The town of Refengkgotso, Deneysville is currently on a shutdown, schools closed and taxis not operating. The shutdown has been triggered by recent water outages in this town that falls under Metsimaholo Local Municipality. Intentions of shutdown came forth over the weekend when Refengkgotso Residence Civil Society Organization said if water supply is not restored by yesterday, the community will today embark on a peaceful shutdown. The organization said water supply was interrupted since 22 February in Refengkgotso. The community is expected to hand over a memorandum of demands today to the Municipal Manager at Metsimaholo Local Municipality Mr Basi Motloung.
