Rape convict do it again – this time in the prison

The Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court has convicted and sentenced 51-year-old Tshepiso Simon Nhlapo to 20 years’ imprisonment for rape and declared him unfit to possess a firearm.

The incident occurred on Saturday, 21 September 2024, at about 22:00, when the 35-year-old victim was sleeping in his cell at the Groenpunt Maximum Correctional Centre with other inmates.
