The Free State Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership with the Free State Sport Confederation, will be hosting the 2025/26 edition of the Free State Sports Awards.
Nominations opened on the 1st April 2026 and will close on the 30th April 2026. To be eligible for nomination nominees’ performance must have taken place between 01 July 2024-31 October 2025.
The awards carry a total of 21 categories, including the MEC Award Category.
