How to read and worship at the same time

The author of the book ‘I Am A Worshipper’’, Themba Rekhabite Mdlalose aims to raise worshippers who understand the true meaning and power of worship.

On the 6th September 2025, the author convened a book review gathering under the theme “Worship Conversations Over Coffee.” It was held at an ambience and spacious event area, Thinking Avenue in Vanderbijlpark.

“The book review’s objective was to create an environment for readers to meet and discuss the book and to revive the spirit of reading,” said Mdlalose.

He added that the event was also aimed at redefining the true meaning of worship and to give clarity and knowledge on what worship can do and restore.

The event also witnessed the launch of the “I Am A Woshipper Movement” intended to raise 1000 worshippers and to build a community of believers, who harness the knowledge of books to transform their lives.

Mdlalose has also written two other books ( Pursuing Your Divine Assignment and Decrees and Declarations).

The book review event featured notable gospel musicians from the Vaal and Free State, including Tumelo Malunga, Zanele Mulambo, and Lindani Nameka. A panel discussion, moderated by esteemed speakers and pastors Tumelo Sibata and Morashi Mashinini, encouraged audience participation and insightful comments.

The I Am A Worshipper Movement will host its 2nd Book Review on the 18th of October 2025, at Sasolburg from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
