Inspired by life experiences and a desire to share her testimony, a young Vaal-based author has embarked on a spiritual journey to launch her new religious book titled Dear Diary.
In this religious devotional book, young author Pinky Dlamini from Vaal, focuses on a spiritual journey of a young person as shares milestones and events of her life.
Dlamini says: “We tell our stories differently and I used written words to tell the testimony of my life and I’m grateful that perseverance I have in reading.”
The young author says she gained confidence through reading and as such encourages young people to read and read, and to stop taking reading for granted.
“As young people we are living in an evolving society where much is expected from us, thus it is important for us to equip ourselves with more information,” quips Dlamini.
Dear Diary opens with an introduction about the importance of reading and writing. It also highlights the importance of a dream.
The author shares her experiences and lessons about fatherhood; bullying; friendship; self-esteem; and self-acceptance through her journey with Jesus Christ.
“Always remember it takes courage to be unique, wise, educated, knowledgeable and rich in this mediocre society we live in,” she adds.
Dear Diary teaches us to know who we are, stand up for ourselves; know who are your friends; the walk with Jesus and many more.
Through this personal journey of Dlamini, many young women are set to learn many life lessons.
The author says, “The motive for sharing my story is not out of a desire for attention but rather out of an urge to be effective for Christ.”

The launch of the book will be on Sunday, 1st August 2021.
This phenomenal young author hails from Umlazi, in Kwazulu Natal, and is continuing with her Hospitality studies, and has also acquired her Teaching Qualifications recently.
