While struggling to get products that can be suitable to treat and maintain her own unique hair, Nomsa Zondo decided to create and produce her own products named Monsa Naturals. Born and bred in Zamdela Sasolburg, Nomsa said the idea came in 2018 after trying different products that can be suitable to use on her hair to no avail.
“Speaking to my friend I realized that there can actually be a market out there for such hair products” said Nomsa. A diploma graduate in logistics Nomsa said she left her job and use money saved to pursue her new business initiative. After hard work of research on various ingredients and products Monsa Naturals was born in 2021.
Monsa Naturals produces hair products such as hair shampoo, hair growth oil, hydrating mist, hair spray etc. With business instincts already within her that time she had started before with her other business ventures of Decoration, Catering and Event Management. With her business growing steadily Nomsa is currently waiting for the South African Bureau of Standards to approve her products.
Nomsa Zondo was also among young Free State entrepreneurs who represented the province at the Saitex International Exhibition in Johannesburg last week. “The Saitex exhibition has presented our businesses and products with great opportunity and exposure, we can only hope for the best moving forward” added Nomsa.
