With the inclusion of the town of Heilbron within the Metsimaholo Local Municipality by the Dermacation Board, indications are that this town and its residents might play a critical role in deciding the political power balance in this municipality after this year’s Local Government Elections.
The Service Movement for Metsimaholo, invaded Phiritona and Heilbron yesterday in its cleaning campaign that is also aimed at restoring public spaces. Teaming up with its volunteers and community members, the movement said it is committed to building cleaner, safer and more dignified communities.
This newly formed movement will also be contesting in the upcoming Local Government Elections within the Metsimaholo Local Municipality.
