MEC Mokoena to Engage Ngwathe Local Municipality on High Court Judgment.
The MEC for Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements, Mr. Saki Mokoena, is today meeting with the leadership of Ngwathe Local Municipality and all affected parties to formally communicate the outcomes of the High Court judgment and the subsequent Constitutional Court judgment.
The department said the engagement will form part of the government’s commitment to ensuring compliance with the rule of law, promoting accountability, and providing clarity on the implementation of the court order.
“The Department remains committed to supporting municipalities in strengthening governance, service delivery and institutional stability for the benefit of communities across the Free State” said the department.
