Among the three lives claimed by an N3 accident which happened just two days after Christmas day is a newlywed couple from Pretoria.
The accident happened between Warden and Villiers when a truck collided with a light vehicle.
According to the Rekord newspaper, What should have been the beginning of a lifetime together ended in tragedy when a young Pretoria couple, married just months ago, were among three people killed in this devastating head-on collision.
Rekord reports that Messages of condolences have been pouring in for the young Pretoria couple, Zane and Claryke Hilton. Emergency services rushed to the scene, finding the vehicles mangled and debris scattered across the road.
Paramedics declared the three dead at the site, while treating the truck driver for cuts and bruises before taking him to a nearby hospital. (Pictures -Rekord Newspaper)
