Mandela Day’s colourful murals at a local creche

In Sasolburg, the Service Movement for Metsimaholo(SMM) embarked on its Mandela Day programmes in Vaalpark, Ward 14, where its volunteers spent the day painting and creating colourful murals at a local crèche.

The programme was aimed at creating a brighter, welcoming and inspiring learning environment for the young children who attend the crèche.

Every child deserves to learn, play and grow in a space that brings them joy and encourages their imagination.

In Ward 8, SMM reached out to children in need by handing over school shoes and providing refreshments.

This programme was about restoring dignity, supporting education and showing that even a small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.
