Load-shedding, unemployment, poverty, the rising cost of living, crime and corruption are the burning issues in South Africa at the moment.
Delivering the State of the Nation Address at the joint sitting of the Parliament in the Cape Town City Hall on Thursday night, President Cyril Ramaphosa said there are no easy solutions to any of these challenges.
“Yet we have the strength, the means and the wherewithal to overcome them. If we work together and act boldly and decisively, leaving no one behind, we will be able to resolve our challenges,” said the President.
