Cedar Secondary School in Zamdela Sasolburg, has announced that its Principal Mr SJ Sibanyoni, will be leaving the school to pursue a new opportunity in the private sector.
The school said “It is with a mixture of gratitude and sadness that we inform you that our Principal Mr Sibanyoni SJ will be leaving the school to pursue a new opportunity in the private sector. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the life of our school” , said the school in a statement.
The school said during his time at Cedar, he provided dedicated leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to the growth and success of both our learners and staff.
“Under his stewardship, the school has continued to strive for excellence in academics, discipline, and overall development. He has played a meaningful role in shaping a positive school culture and strengthening our sense of community”.
“While we are saddened to see him go, we fully support his decision to embrace this new career path. We are confident that he will bring the same passion, professionalism, and integrity to his new role, and we wish him every success and fulfillment in this next chapter of his journey” said Cedar.
In the 2025 school calendar year Cedar Secondary School obtained a remarkable 100% Pass Rate, in the Matric Class of 2025.
