Villiers – Suspects sought for business robbery committed at a
furniture store during early hours of Monday, 9 May 2022 at Villiers.
According to the police one of the residents who stays nearby the furniture store alleged that he saw people busy at the back yard. He further alleged that the suspects were climbing a ladder seeming to be busy on top of the roof of that furniture store. Upon realizing the suspicious movement he
immediately alerted the police.
Police spokesperson Captain Malebo Khosana said the suspects managed to flee the scene with undisclosed money taken from the furniture safe, 67 Televisions, 3 Tablets, 8 Laptops and 10 Hi-fi radios. All the stolen items are estimated to be the value of R480 000.00.
The police hereby requests for assistance in tracing the suspects.
