It was a Sunday like no other.
This was the 22nd December 2024 as the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa in Thembalihle, Vrede, honoured and appreciated its senior citizens.
Each of these elders was gifted with a shopping voucher to spoil himself or herself according to his/her wishes.
It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, singing, dancing and preaching.
The elderly were then served with lunch.
This special event was organised by the church’s leader, Pastor Sibongile Tshabalala and the church governing body.
The Guest Preacher was Pastor Matefu Mokoena. His message was taken from the book of John 12:1-3, a Scripture about Mary honouring Jesus Christ by anointing His feet with an expensive perfume.
