The diverse and vibrant Free State artistry is set to be showcased this coming weekend in Welkom in the Goldfields. This is as the Inaugural Vuka Arts Free State will be unveiling the Creatives Summit to showcase talent from across the province’s five regions.
The Creatives Summit is scheduled for three days starting from this Friday the 8th December to Sunday the 10th December 2023.
This highly anticipated and ground-breaking Creatives Summit is set to bring together the most talented and visionary artists from all five districts of the Free State which are Thabo Mofutsanyana, Lejweleputswa, Mangaung, Fezile Dabi and Gariep.
According to the Spokesperson of Vuka Arts Free State, Sonia Motaung, the Creatives Summit will serve as a celebration of artistic excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
She said this unique gathering will feature representatives from the realms of dance, visual arts, music, fashion and film, showcasing the diverse and vibrant creative tapestry of the Free State.
Vuka Arts Free State through Creatives Summit has opened the doors to emerging artists and seasoned professionals, inviting 20 individuals from each of the five districts to participate in this landmark event.
