A young professional boxer from Meloding, Virginia in the Lejweleputswa District, Free State, is determined to rise through the ranks of professional boxing and become a world champion.
Lerato Malefane began boxing in 2021 and turned professional in 2025, and has since never looked back.
Since then, Malefane has competed in four fights, having one win, one draw, and two losses. Her dedication to the sport has also earned a recognition from Free State Academy of Sports. Malefane said she is driven by discipline, and a passion for the sport.
“I want to see myself in South African ratings, then become a world champion and build myself a respected name in professional boxing. I want to represent my Province well and inspire others through my achievements,” said Malefane.
