Police in Zamdela are requesting assistance from the community in locating Mpho Victor Ndlovu. He was last seen in Petrus Steyn. Ndlovu can assist police in resolving a Hijacking case which is under investigation.
According to SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Motantsi Makhele on Saturday 2020-07-04 at about 15:15 the victim, Mrs. Martha Mofokeng (46) was on her way to Petrus Steyn. While she was on the R57 between Sasolburg and Heilbron she came across three unknown males who were hitch hiking and she offered them a lift as they were also going to Petrus Steyn.
“Along the road two of the three unknown males overpowered the driver and dropped her and Mpho on the side of the road. The two suspects fled the scene with Mrs. Martha’s silver Honda CRV which was later recovered abandoned in Meyerton on Tuesday 2020-07-07 about 21:20,” said Makhele.
