The Vaal University of Technology was a hype of activity on Thursday last week as it unveiled its new 60th anniversary logo during the lively #VUTCanYouFeelIt campaign celebration.
The occasion marked the beginning of the countdown to June 2026, when VUT will celebrate six decades of academic excellence since its establishment in 1966.
Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Khehla Ndlovu, reflected on the significance of the logo, noting that it embodies the unity and aspirations of the university family.
“This emblem is more than a design, it tells our story of resilience, innovation, and the transformative role we play in society. It will carry us through this important year of celebration and beyond,” he said.
