Three suspects aged between 27 and 33 are expected to appear before the Heilbron Magistrate’s Court on charges of possession of suspected stolen vehicle.
On Friday, 06 March 2026, at about 20:00, police members received information regarding a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had reportedly been parked near a certain club in Sasolburg on Thursday, 05 March 2026, when the complainant allegedly lost his car keys. Upon returning the following day, the complainant discovered that the vehicle was missing. He then activated a tracking company and reported the incident to the police.
Members from the Fezile Dabi District TRIO Task Team, together with Sasolburg Crime Prevention, immediately responded to the information. Their follow-up led them to the R57 towards Heilbron, where the vehicle was eventually spotted and stopped in the Heilbron vicinity.
Three suspects, one male (33) and two females aged 27 and 28, were arrested for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle was recovered. The suspects are expected to appear before the Heilbron Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of suspected stolen vehicle.
