As the Country commemorated Youth Day, some of the political parties in Metsimaholo held activities to mark the importance of this day.
Among the parties that commemorated Youth Day, was the recently registered Kingdom Ambassadors Movement.
The party held the event in Zamdela to celebrate Youth Day. This event was held under the theme: ‘Gathering Of The Joshua Generation’
Kingdom Ambassadors Movement was established in 2023, by the party’s Founder and President Lisebo Victorious Masoha. It has registered with the Independent Electoral Commission to contest in the upcoming local government elections.
The Democratic Alliance on the other hand celebrated the day with a number of activities and engagements in Ward 14, Sasolburg.
Present were DA Free State Provincial Leader, Dr Roy Jankielsohn, and the Provincial Deputy Chairperson, Jafta Mokoena
Jankielsohn emphasised the importance for young people to “acknowledge their past while taking ownership of their future” through positive contributions and work in their communities.
