New brooms have landed in the council chambers of Metsimaholo Local Council.
This happened today as the municipal council welcomed and swore in new Democratic Alliance (DA) Councillor, Johannes Hendrick Petrus Human and two Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) PR Councillors, Cllr Hlapogadi Nocky Masemola and Cllr Larry Lesego Moalusi.
This was done in accordance with the Municipal Structures Act.
A saying goes like this, “A new broom sweeps clean, but an old broom knows the corners.”
