The Vaal University of Technology’s Teaching and Learning Gala Dinner, celebrated academic excellence and was deeply moved by the thought-provoking keynote address from guest speaker Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
Dr Ndlozi reminded that: “Education is not just about filling minds with knowledge; it is about nurturing the spirit and teaching our people to be responsive and free. In a world filled with challenges, it is our mission to defend our human freedom and culture through education. South Africa stands at a crossroads, facing crises around democracy, political participation, and governance, but education remains our beacon of hope to rise above these challenges.”
The VUT Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Khehla Ndlovu, and Higher Education representative, Ms Mandisa Cakwe, also praised the outstanding achievements of our scholars: “The efforts of our academics shine brightly as a testament to education’s transformative power.
