Come weekend! It will not only be a time for music, dance and a get-together, but also for spiritual nourishment, deepening Biblical knowledge and acquisition of wisdom, as young people gather for their 2025 regional youth conference in Namahadi, Frankfort.
This three-day annual conference starts tomorrow evening, September 26, 2025, and ends on Sunday. It is organised by the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) of South Africa’s Northern Free State regional youth committee
The conference will be hosted by the AFM Nahamahi Assembly and the theme for this year is “Pray without ceasing”.

Expected to attend this conference are youth from various towns in the Northern Free State region, including Sasolburg, Heilbron, Viljoenskroon, Vrede, Villiers and Parys, among others, as well as several other towns.
The 2025 Annual Youth Conference is a gathering designed to ignite youth potential, foster leadership, and provide spiritual nourishment that strengthens faith and encourages meaningful action.
The AFM Northern Free State Regional Youth Leader, Jaby Molete, underscored excitement about the upcoming conference, highlighting it as a valuable platform for deepening spiritual maturity, reclaiming lost ground and reigniting faith in God.
“I am excitedly looking forward to the upcoming Youth Conference, which I believe will be a powerful platform for young people to deepen their understanding of the youth ministry, share ideas, inspire change, shape the future and served the Lord wholeheartedly,” she said.

Enthusiastic Jaby, who is also a budding gospel artist, mentioned that it is her wish and desire to see impactful leaders, pathfinders, visionaries and successful careerists born out of this conference and coming from every single church of the AFM in the Northern Free State region.
The speakers for the conference are Mr R Madiba, Evangelist P Mankoe, Mr B Phungwayo and Pastor Matefu Mokoena.
“It is our desire as the Regional Youth Committee of the AFM Northern Free State to see the youth growing in their faith, deepening their relationship with God and living out their lives with boldness and confidence,” added Jaby.
Other members of the Regional Youth Committee are Ms V Mkhuma, Mr W Mfene, Ms N Mazibuko, Mr M Mangwa and Pastor T M Motaung.
Jaby urged the youth to play different roles in their local churches and participate in developmental activities in their communities.
“With great anticipation, the Regional Youth Committee awaits the arrival of youth at this year’s 2025 Annual Youth Conference,” concluded Jaby.
