Female boxers across South Africa and from neighbouring Botswana flexed their muscles in a Women in Boxing Tournament, that was held in Thabong, Welkom on the 06th December 2025.
The tournament was organised by the Free State Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation and Stakeholders.
Seven bouts consisting of 14 female boxers were featured in Junior Lightweight, Mini Flyweight, Junior Bantam, Junior Lightweight, Junior Flyweight, and Flyweight 4 and 6 rounds.
The tournament was overseen by Boxing South Africa as the licensing body and staged through Kgoitsimodimo Boxing Promotions as technical implementers.
