Laughter of joy and celebration reverberated through the corridors of Thuto ke Lesedi Technical High School in the Harry Gwala section in Zamdela, Sasolburg.
This moment of excitement was in celebration of the school’s Mathematics Teacher, Mrs RS Masheleni for winning an award in the Free State Province’s National Teaching Awards 2025.
She scored the first position in Caterogy of Excellence in Teaching Mathematics FET in the Free State.
The awards were presented by Free State Education MEC, Dr Mantlhake Julia Maboya, on the 15th August 2025 in Bloemfontein.
Masheleni will, together with other winners, represent the province at the National Teaching Awards.
