Having started playing netball in primary school, the journey continued for Thato Dorcas Madimabe, from Sasolburg. Thato is currently playing for Vixens Netball Club that takes part in the Metsimaholo and Fezile Dabi leagues.
Thato who is also being celebrated by the Free State Academy of Sport, started playing in the Metsimaholo League in 2018, and in the District league the following year. In 2019 and 2021 she obtained first position at the National championship in Limpopo.
In 2023 and 2024, she was selected to represent The Free State Provincial team the Crinums. The Crinums were crowned to be the 2024 winners of the Telkom Netball League after beating Gauteng Jaguars. Thato also played at the Spar National championships and:
*2020-National championship UJ-(Johannesburg)
*2021- Senior Spar National Championship’s Bela bela (Limpopo) Gold medalists
*2023 – National Championships( North west)
*2023-Represented the Free State Crinums in the KZN SERIES
*2024-Senior National Championships (Johannesburg)
