The Athletics Free State Development Committee will host Kids Athletics Fun Day in Sasolburg, DP de Villiers Stadium, on the 30th May 2026.
Mr Jan Ramaubane will be facilitating the programme as part of the 5-year celebration of the Kids Athletics programme initiative of the World Athletics.
The programme is aimed at introducing young athletes to athletics in a structured, engaging, and development-focused environment.
The event will provide an opportunity for boys and girls aged 05 to 11 years and preferably 13 years to participate in fun-based athletics activities designed to promote enjoyment, participation, and the development of fundamental athletic skills. It further seeks to encourage teamwork, discipline, and a healthy, active lifestyle among young athletes/participants.
