Metsimaholo Local Municipality hosted its 14th Annual Employee Wellness Day at DP de Villiers Stadium in SasolburgMun on Friday 23rd October 2026. Held under the theme”Wellness is Health – Invest In You,” municipal employees traded their formal wear for sports gear to focus on physical, mental, and emotional health.
Official proceedings were opened by theDirector of Corporate Services, Mr. Ephraim Sediane,,with Municipal Manager Mr. FJ Motloung delivering the Keynote Address, motivating employees to carry the spirit of wellness far beyond the day’s activities. He noted that wellness is not a one-day event but a continuous journey of self-care and professional excellence, thanking all departments for showing up in numbers to build a more unified and resilient municipality.
Othe activities on the day included, high-octane aerobics warm-up session, vital health screenings as well as Team Building Activities with ntense rounds of Tug of War and Morabaraba to fast-paced Relays, Netball, and a thrilling Soccer Match
