Members of the Fezile Dabi District Trio Task Team have arrested a 48-year-old male during Operation Shanela II actions for possession of stolen copper cable.
On Thursday, 10 September 2026, at about 10:00, members received information about an unknown male who was allegedly burning copper cable near Midland Feeding Lots in Sasolburg.
Upon arrival at the identified location, members traced the suspect and found him in possession of copper cable suspected to be stolen. He was immediately arrested.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of possession of stolen copper cable
