The only Free State finalist for the Miss GRAND South Africa 2026 Thandeka ‘Dihappiness’ Zibuta, from Tumahole Parys, says with the support of the people of her hometown and the province, she is ready to wear the crown with humility.
Dihappiness says this journey is not only about beauty, It’s about purpose. “My advocacy is rooted in stopping Gender-Based Violence and Child Abuse. Miss Grand SA believes in queens who lead with impact, and that’s exactly what I’m here to do. This platform gives me the reach to normalize these conversations and bring resources to places like Parys that are often overlooked” Dihappiness added.
“My mission is to establish “Safe Space Sessions” this month in Parys, that will operate as a workshop where everyone can learn, share openly, and access therapy. I believe change starts at home, and home for me is Parys. I want to be proof that your postcode doesn’t define your potential” says Dihappiness.
Marching towards the crown, on the 19th June for the preliminary competition, and on the 20th June 2026 for the Grand Final, Dihappiness “Need Your Support”.
