The Executive Mayor of Metsimaholo Local Municipality, Cllr Jack Malindi, was joined by Members of the Mayoral Committee , Cllr Lebohang Makhefu responsible for Finance and IDP, and Cllr Angy Mofokeng responsible for Special Programmes, along with officials from Seriti, the Department of Mineral Resources, municipal representatives, and union stakeholders.

During his address, Executive Mayor Cllr Malindi issued a heartfelt appeal to the traders to take ownership of the newly refurbished facility and urged them to keep the trading area clean, safeguard it against vandalism, and use it fully to grow and sustain their businesses.
