It was time to inspect service delivery progress on the ground as the Members of the Mayoral Committee and the Senior Managers of Ngwathe Local Municipality took a walkabout to see for themselves.
This happened in Mokwallo, Vredefort, one of the towns under Ngwathe Local Municipality and on the walkabout were Members of the Mayoral Committee Cllrs Kau Khumalo and Manthole Sefako, Municipal Manager Dr Futhuli Mothamaha, Technical Services Director Patricia Morokolo and the electricity officials.
According to the Municipality, maintenance programme is part of responses to community’s concerns.
Mothamaha said the ongoing program of fixing streets and apollo lights in areas across the municipality, is part of rapid response to issues raised by the community.
