It is named Kingdom Ambassadors Movement. This is newly registered political party that will be contesting the forthcoming municipal elections in Metsimaholo.
It comes with a promise to shake the political environment in the hung Metsimaholo Local Municipality by maximising its impact and influence while building thriving communities.
Kingdom Ambassadors Movement was established in 2023. The party’s founder and president Lisebo Victorious Masoha. It has registered with the Independent Electoral Commission to contest in the upcoming local government elections.
With many titles, Victorious has a background and knowledge in Local Government, numerous certifications in Public Finance and Municipal Governance, and experience as a Social Activist, Community Builder, and entrepreneur, amongst other things. Although it is a Christian-based organisation, its founder says it caters all people, no matter their religion, race, age, or association.
She says one of their main aims is to uplift young people and the community at large through various programs and interventions. “As an organisation, we want to help and uplift young people to become the change they want to be through empowerment programs and skills development” said Victorious.
“Young people should be in educational facilities or entrepreneurship. We encourage them to do something like starting their own business instead of allowing drugs and substances to take their future away from them”. The organization is running various programs within the municipality such as cleaning campaigns and currently they are involved in a Matric Empowerment Program that is aimed at empowering matric learners” added Victorious.
The organization, according to its president, is also passionate about local issues and challenges that residents encounter on a daily basis and wants to see accountability from those in charge. “We are building a platform that will help build a conducive environment for business to prosper, create social cohesion and revive our local economy that will lead to job creation”.
In one of its upcoming programs on the 16th June the Kingdom Ambassadors Movement will be hosting a program called Gathering of the Joshua Generations, that will also include young dialogue, cleaning campaign, and leadership summit.
