Vaal based gospel singer Dineo Mohaso is soon to release her second album which will be a sequel to her first hit “Atamelang ho Jehova.”
Mohaso is a gospel singer based in Vanderbijlpark Gauteng, and she started singing at her young age in church.
After releasing her first Sesotho gospel album back in 2016, the Vaal based artist is now working on her 2nd album.
Mohaso said the first group she used to sing with was called ‘Masedonia A Moreneng’ which was clap and tap. “ In 1984 I joined the youth choir called ‘Vaal Sound Chorus” which shaped my singing career, and In 1988 I participated in a music competition Shell Road to Fame, where I ended up in the Semi Finals with my own composition” said Mohaso.
In 2016 Mohaso recorded her first Sesotho album title ‘Atamelang ho Jehova’, which was produced and arranged by Thabo Makhophochane and Nathi Banda. “Atamelang ho Jehova is about praising God and I wrote it in my own language (Sesotho). I believe that it is always better when you express yourself in your own language” added Mohaso.
Currently this gospel artist is working on her second album which will be a single album. “I’m involved as part of my church choir as a lead singer and developing youth in this field and I love gospel music because I use it to praise my God, It heals broken hearts and fulfills my everything. Music if my Life” concludes Mohaso.
